Little Wat
A cozy Thai temple builder
Start with a small riverside monastery, one kuti and one monk, and slowly grow it into the heart of the village.
Full game: Coming this December
What is Little Wat?
- Build it one hall at a timeKutis, salas, the sermon hall and one day the ubosot (ordination hall). No instant build: your temple boys raise every building.
- Every monk is a personEach has a name, a Pali name and a calling. You give them duties; you never click to move them.
- The morning alms roundFood only comes from the villages. Each village's faith grows from caring for it, never from money.
- The Thai calendarHot, rainy and cool seasons, merit-making festivals, Buddhist holy days, the rains retreat and kathin.
No enemies, no game over. Calm, slow and beautiful.

How it's made
Little Wat is designed by Dat.Game, a one-person studio that makes every decision, playtests it, and picks and fixes every piece before it goes in.
AI tools help: pixel art — PixelLab · music and sound — ElevenLabs · code and in-game text — Claude (Anthropic) · 3D models the buildings start from — Claude + Blender.
Everything about monks, ceremonies and temple life is checked against real tradition.
